What are the main raw materials for shelves
Jul 08,2025
The raw materials for shelves are generally cold-rolled steel and plastic powder.
Firstly, Q235 cold-rolled steel is generally used as the steel material. Oil removal, rust removal, surface adjustment, phosphating, powder coating, baking and heating are carried out on the steel raw material to form a smooth and bright coating, achieving the purpose of decoration, anti-corrosion and rust prevention.
There are three types of steel for shelves:
1. Weight type pallet rack: It is based on the standard of load-bearing capacity of 1-5 tons per layer, using high-quality cold-rolled steel plates that are rolled and formed. The columns can reach up to seven meters high without joints in the middle, and the crossbeams are made of high-quality C-steel lap welded pipes, which have high load-bearing capacity and are not easily deformed.
2. Medium sized shelves: They are designed with a load-bearing capacity of 200-500 kilograms per layer as the standard. The columns and beams are connected in a butterfly hole shape without the need for bolts. The main and auxiliary shelves can be infinitely connected, and the floor height can be adjusted freely. The structure is sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a beautiful appearance.
3. Lightweight shelving: It is designed with a load-bearing capacity of 80-150 kilograms per layer as the standard. The columns and beams are connected in a butterfly hole shape without the need for bolts. The main and auxiliary frames can be infinitely connected, and the floor height can be adjusted freely. The structure is sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a beautiful appearance.
